Scholarship Description

This full-time studentship enables academically superior students to undertake full-time training in health research. The award supports training in: research on the organization and delivery of health care; technology assessment; community health; health promotion; disease prevention and related disciplines. The Health Research Studentship consists of a stipend and a research allowance. Full-time Studentships can also provide an opportunity for exceptional candidates to study for their MD and PhD degrees simultaneously. Candidates must have been accepted into, or be currently studying in, a full-time graduate program at an Alberta-based university in a health-related discipline leading to a Master's or doctoral degree.
