Responsibilities
Responsibilities include conducting an independent research in Arabidopsis transcriptional regulation mediated by osmotic stress, small RNA, and epigenetic mechanisms. The assigned work will include sample preparation for microarray analysis, microarray data analysis, real-time PCR analysis, small RNA analysis, mutant screening, protoplast transient assay, biochemical analysis, microscopy/image analysis, presentation of research accomplishment and preparation of research manuscriptsOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ph.D or equivalent in molecular biology/biochemistry/genetics or related field.
- At least 2 years of laboratory research experience.
- Basic bioinformatic and office computer skills.
- Experience with Arabidopsis thaliana is desired.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
