Scholarship Description: A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available within a dynamic research team in the Sydney School of Public Health for a suitably qualified candidate with a degree in health to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in Medicine. The project assesses the effect of an online familial risk assessment tool and GP triage on risk appropriate colorectal cancer screening uptake. The study design is a cluster-randomised trial across practices in NSW and Victoria, linking with national primary care cancer research networks.

Eligibility:
Applicants should have a particular interest in consumer-led interventions to improve the uptake of evidence in practice. Prior experience working in the general practice environment and Masters level qualifications in Public Health or other relevant research methodology is desirable. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens*.
